Greenwich, CT— Altus Power Management announces the signing of a long-term solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with Edens & Avant, one of the nation’s leading private owners and developers of retail shopping centers, covering a solar energy system that will be located on the roofs of Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Panera Bread in South Bay Center I in Boston, MA. Edens & Avant will make no capital investment and receive substantial savings through the purchase of discounted clean electricity. The solar arrays will generate approximately 280,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year, and will meet the majority of the shopping center’s common area power needs. The solar energy system is being installed by Alteris Renewables, Inc., a Connecticut-based clean energy company with a significant market share in the Northeast. Altus Power Management is funding the installation under the PPA and will own and manage the clean energy system once it is in operation.
