About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience and aptitude to serve as a Financial Valuations Analyst in the renewable energy industry.
Responsibilities:
· Manage corporate cash flow model
o Add projects to the corporate model as and when completed
o Update corporate model to include new debt facilities or upsize of existing facilities
o Layer in pipeline assets to evaluate forecasts, concentration limits, liquidity
o Monitor credit metrics on credit facilities
o Update asset level assumptions, including: energy production, power price estimates, OPEX
· Create/Manage Credit facilities models for closings and on-going maintenance including ratings models
· Create/Manage Tax Equity models for closings and on-going maintenance
· Maintain investment valuation model templates including:
o Development asset model
o Operating asset model
o Coordinate with the investment, construction, asset management teams to make model updates needed to account for market changes
o Manage “Standard Assumptions” log
· Maintain Portfolio Asset Summary, which includes all relevant financial metrics of each asset in the portfolio
· Sign off on internal valuations model for Investment Committee approval
· Formulate internal assumptions on power price vectors, including LMP, retail power prices
· Perform valuation analysis for asset management and re-development
Requirements:
· 2+ years of relevant experience - Financial Analysis, Equity and/or valuations - preferably within Energy or Real Estate/Finance
· Prior knowledge of Corporate Finance and Analysis is required for this role
· Experience in developing and maintaining complex financial models is required for this role
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail
· Advanced modeling skills Microsoft Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables, etc.)
· Be comfortable working in a fast-passed environment
· Solution focused with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks to meet deadlines
