About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as our Associate Product Manager. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of intelligent energy solutions for our customers in Telecom, Financial Services, Retail, and Life Sciences.
Responsibilities
- Work with our customers, our community solar team, and our executive leadership to identify and evaluate opportunities to build new features to drive customer engagement and internal efficiencies.
- Translate customer (external and internal) feedback into clearly defined product requirements
- Create and maintain a prioritized, optimized and logically sequenced roadmap
- Provide weekly and monthly status reports on current issues and mitigation plans
- Understand and operate agile ceremonies
- Effectively assist in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines
- Communicate the product roadmap for presentation to senior management as well as customer’s stakeholders
- Work with product designers to visualize blue sky vision while executing 2 sprints ahead of engineering
Requirements
- At least 2 years of product management experience or at least 2 years of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience with end-to-end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of energy markets, energy management, or related domains e.g. finance or financial markets.
