About the Position
Altus Power is a top owner of commercial and utility Solar Assets. The Diligence and Remediation team is responsible for evaluating sites under operation and making assessments for purchase, providing punch-lists and remediation recommendations, and completing remediation.
Altus Power is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee the review technical and financial impacts of operating PV assets, work with engineering teams to provide recommendations and execute approved projects based on those recommendations.
This individual will be responsible for supporting financial review of remediations, overseeing system designs, running RFP’s design review, production review, site inspections and directing our engineering and inspection partners. The candidate will be working closely with the origination, structuring and customer teams to determine efficient and consistent contracting processes and developing internal policies in connection with the operations of the company as well as providing legal support to the development of clean energy products and services.
Responsibilities:
• Work as part of a cross-functional team delivering strategic legal advice to Altus Power on strategic partnerships, clean energy agreements, corporate organizational and corporate structure matters, and company policies.
• Stay up to date on relevant energy laws and regulations related to public companies and other applicable areas.
• Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including lease agreements, power purchase agreements, membership interest purchase agreements, subscriber agreements, development agreements, consulting agreements, and complex commercial agreements.
• Perform due diligence in connection with solar acquisitions and negotiate financing facility documentation and tax equity transaction documentation.
• Liaise with local utilities and municipalities on various permissions and approvals relating to the provision of clean energy

Requirements:
• 1-3 years of legal experience with expertise in contract negotiation and corporate law.
• In-house legal experience preferred, particularly in connection with clean energy platforms with expertise in advising on corporate and contractual matters.

About the Position
As Head of Community Solar Commercial Sales at Altus Power, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strategic relationships with large employers, C-level Altus Power clients, large institutional real estate investors, municipalities and other key stakeholders with the goal of subscribing these counterparties to Altus’ clean energy services. Requirements:
· Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience, with a proven track record of success in a similar role
· Previous experience selling to Fortune 100 companies and other large employers.
· Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at the C-level.
· Strong project management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
· Detail oriented with experience working with marketing to launch new initiatives
· Previous experience signing long term energy agreements such as PPAs is a plus.
