Product Manager

About the Position

Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as our Product Manager to drive product execution. This position will report into the Chief Digital Officer. Our customers come from Telecom, Financial Services, Retail and Life-sciences sectors, where we solve the business use cases ranging from increasing digital (web/app) conversion rate, improving user experience, implementing machine learned models for personalization, real-time scoring, pricing and promotions and churn management.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Stamford, Connecticut company headquarters.

• Write product description specifications that engineering can use to implement

• Weekly Project Status reporting: Accomplishments, Upcoming 30-day deliverables, Current Issues & Mitigation plans. Risk to project schedule, funding.

• Run scrum meetings

• Effectively assists in directing both internal and external resources to achieve business solutions within project guidelines.

• Abstract out the product roadmap for presentation to senior management as well as customer’s stakeholders

• Work with UX designers to bring the product specifications to life

• Work with data scientists to incorporate data driven feedback for product improvements

• Work with customer stakeholders from privacy, fraud and security to ensure product roadmap gets acceptance for execution

Requirements

• The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of experience leading product management at consumer companies that serve millions of users, where you came up with data driven user experience improvements, collaborated with engineering teams to implement the product, and worked closely with senior management team to drive product prioritization.

• Ability to balance between conflicting priorities and needs across the organization and customer base

• Ability to translate strategic objectives into milestones and tasks, prioritize work and meet deadlines

• Strong project management and leadership qualities; accustomed to managing multiple projects at one time with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

Project Manager

Stamford, CT

About the Position

Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as a Project Manager. This position will report into the Senior Director Construction. This position is based at corporate office in lower Fairfield, with occasional overnight site visits and site diligence.

Responsibilities

The Senior Project Manager is a member of the PASS construction management team and would work with the structuring desk as the technical team member, bridging engineering, evaluating sites, evaluating production estimates, generating budgets, maintaining schedules, interacting with utilities, writing scope of work, bidding materials and sub-contractors, executing agreements and approve payments and change orders, and overall coordination from permits to PTO and commissioning.

Requirements

• Four-year degree; Preference in construction management or engineering

• Overall construction experience with C&I solar project management experience a plus

• NABCEP certified preferred

• Proficient in reading and understanding civil, structural, low voltage and medium voltage plans

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Strong attention to detail

• Good understanding of OSHA safety procedures and national electric codes

• Proficient in Excel, Gant charts, scheduling software, and project management software (Kuhua preferred)

Altus Power is currently seeking a qualified professional to join its Finance and Structuring team.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of tax equity transactions, includes negotiation of transaction documents, coordinating: due diligence, consultant reports and interfacing with the investor

• Support the management of Altus’ corporate debt facilities by interfacing with rating agencies, lenders, counsel, and consultants.

• Seek opportunities to improve on current credit and tax equity facilities

Requirements

Accounts Receivable and Customer Experience Analyst / Associate

About the Position

Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as an Accounts Receivable and Customer Experience Analyst / Associate. The candidate will work closely with our Accounting & Customer Experience teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in day-to-day accounts receivable procedure including invoice processing, invoice recording, and record maintenance. Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.

• Assist in open receivables management for ongoing accounts. Interpret new contracts and set up relevant billing protocol by understanding and applying current revenue recognition policy.

• Process electronic and physical cash receipts, occasionally contribute to treasury functions within accounting team. Follow internal control requirements. Assist with financial audit and fulfill audit requests.

• Build relationships with commercial and residential customer base. Become well versed in product offerings and individual customer arrangements. Help launch programs to increase customer outreach and engagement.

• Work with Community Solar Specialist to handle operations of internal and external community solar program. Validate reporting produced by external servicers in order to record accounting entries. Manage requests between Altus and the servicers and participate in bimonthly team calls for ongoing programs. Organize onboarding and setup process for new community projects.

• Maintain intermediary payment platform accounts. Reconcile payment information provided by servicer against bank detail and intermediary payment processor reporting. Track and mitigate risk of open A/R balances and customer churn.

• Work directly with team members from business development and inhouse development focusing on project to build out ability to track account activity at an individual customer level for community solar.

Responsibilities

Energy Optimization Field technician will be performing both proactive and reactive maintenance, troubling shooting, coordination of third-party contractors and warranty providers, testing and commissioning.

Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent (training in armed forces), with preference in electrical engineering or electrical or control experience

• Proficient in reading and understanding low voltage, medium voltage plans, wiring and control diagrams, specification, and data sheets

• Familiar with central and string inverters, DAS, and communication systems

• Capable of thermal imaging testing and analysis, insulation resistance testing and the completion of commissioning reports
