About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as an Energy Optimization Manager. The successful candidate will ensure maximum uptime and optimal performance of our existing solar facilities.
Responsibilities
• Ensure optimum performance of the assets to meet/exceed production forecasts
• Monitor and report daily asset performance through Asset Management Software
• Conduct data analysis and troubleshoot potential or existing issues
• Supervise the O&M partners and control their preventive / corrective maintenance tasks
• Advise on or perform any potential improvements of the assets
• Inspect the assets monthly and issue associated reporting (internal and external when applicable)
• Monitor the O&M expenditure and ensure they remain within budget
• Issue monthly reporting (internal and external when applicable)
• Attend periodic follow-up meetings, internal and with external parties
• Understand the O&M Agreements in full, and ensure their enforcement when applicable
• Ensure timely renewal and renegotiation of certain O&M agreements and contracts for vegetation management and module washing when applicable
• Ensure timely renewal of asset operating licenses and permits
• Work with Asset Management team to ensure timely issuance and correctness of monthly production number for purposes of producing power invoices
• Coordinate with DAS providers regarding production, communicating issues and subscription renewals
• Assist the development team in performing technical due diligence in view of acquisition
• Support at times the EPC team on engineering and project management matters
• Assist with insurance claims when applicable
