About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Analyst or Associate to join its Investment & Structured Finance team.
Responsibilities:
• Origination, negotiation, due diligence, and transaction process of project/portfolio acquisitions for an established owner and operator of distributed generation solar assets; origination includes both self-developed projects, late-stage development projects, and secondary/operating project/portfolio acquisitions.
• Establish, develop, and expand relationships with clients, customers, and channel partners.
• Identify, model, underwrite, and due diligence investment opportunities.
• Negotiate terms of all project and transaction documents including term sheets, purchase and sale agreements, tax equity partnership documents, power purchase agreements and site lease agreements.
• Coordinate with various teams of engineers, construction, legal and accounting during project development, construction, and closing.
• Secure and redeem local and state incentives in key solar markets.
• Navigate federal, state, local solar rules and regulations imposed by AHJ’s, utilities, and other governing bodies.
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree with exceptional academic record
• Exposure to the infrastructure industry is a plus
• Superior financial modelling and due diligence capabilities
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to work in situations with changing priorities and multiple simultaneous assignment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; experience presenting analyses to senior leaders and ability to lead and drive initiatives.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Highly self-motivated with strong integrity
• Ability to clearly communicate ideas, both verbally and in writing
