About the Position

As the Manager of Financial Systems at Altus Power, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial systems and related processes used by the Company. You will play a key role in identifying further automation needs/opportunities and implementing new systems. You will work closely with the Accounting & Financial Reporting Team to ensure that financial systems are optimized to support the Company's reporting and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

· Assist the Accounting & Financial Reporting Team in developing and maintaining financial systems, processes, and procedures to ensure that they meet the needs of the company and comply with applicable regulations.

· Manage a team of external consultants and software developers to ensure that they have the skills and resources to complete assigned projects on time.

· Lead the implementation of financial software, including accounting, billing, and reporting systems.

· Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in financial operations.

· Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting.

· Maintain an understanding of emerging financial technologies and make recommendations for their adoption as appropriate.

Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or related field.

· 7+ years of experience in financial systems management. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of accounting and financial principles. CPA is a plus.

· Proven track record of successfully implementing financial systems.

· Experience managing teams of financial analysts, accountants, and software developers.

· Strong project management skills and attention to details.

· Ability to communicate complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
