About the Position
Altus Power is currently seeking a highly motivated individual with the skills, experience, and aptitude to serve as a Project Controls Analyst. This position will report to the Senior Construction Administrator and will be a member of the Construction team as a key point of contact and resource across teams. The candidate would be responsible for maintaining documentation, processes and controls across active solar construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
The Project Controls Analyst is responsible for overseeing and supporting all administrative aspects of construction projects, ensuring efficient contract management, financial tracking, procurement, and project documentation. This role acts as a key liaison between project management, procurement and logistics, accounting, vendors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth project execution and compliance.
- Assist with drafting, execution, and tracking of funding contracts and subcontracts for construction projects.
- Prepare purchase orders (POs) and sales tax exemption forms and work with procurement and logistics team and project management team to ensure materials are properly tracked.
- Oversee accounts receivable (A/R): verify project milestones with project management team, maintain tracking spreadsheets, and work with Accounting team to ensure milestones are billed and payment is received.
- Manage Procore software: set up project templates, upload budgets/contracts, update costs, assist project managers in ensuring all documentation is correctly uploaded and updated, run reports, and maintain company directory and permissions, and ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Assist with project cost breakdown and assist with tax equity documentation to finance team.
- Gather and supply quarterly time allocations for project managers and engineers to accounting for salary allocations.
- Address miscellaneous requests and issues as needed.
Requirements:
- Four-year degree; Preference in construction administration or business administration
- Overall construction experience with C&I solar projects a plus
- Proven experience in project controls or project management support
- Proficient in Procore and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with construction accounting a plus
